Leslie rotary speaker/amp now available at Moonface studio...

The sound of a rotary speaker just never seems to go out of style. It is probably because it just sounds SO damned cool!!

There are plenty of emulators out there. Stomp boxes, plugins, rack mount FX processors and ‘workstations’ are all platforms where you can find emulations of rotary speakers. But, as we’ve said here on numerous occasions, ‘nothing beats the real thing!’. Maybe we should make that our motto here at Moonface.

We’ve added a 2-speed Leslie amp to our amp collection. It is a Leslie 300 chassis and speakers with an upgrade to a Leslie 900 amp. It has dual 1/4” inputs and can be used as a stand-alone amp. Or, with a signal attenuator, it can be used with a head or in series with another amp (e.g. via an FX send).

It sounds fantastic on guitar, synth and even vocals. But, the real joy comes when we plug our Hammond organ in and start pulling down the drawbars!

It sounds great on everything from blues and jazz, to classic and modern rock. Come record at Moonface Studio and hear for yourself!
