Moonface Studio Acquires Hammond M102 Organ...
We are extremely proud to advertise the fact that Moonface Studio now has an early ‘60s, Hammond M102 Tone Wheel Organ available for use! This organ was dubbed the ‘Baby B’, mostly because it uses most of the same guts as the legendary B3 (minus 1 octave). This was the very model used on the famous Procal Harum song - ‘A Whiter Shade of Pale’!
The organ sounds great. It has almost all original tubes and is in good mechanical condition. Nothing beats the sound of a true Hammond Tone Wheel organ! Well, maybe 1 thing does...A true Hammond Tone Wheel organ played through a Leslie speaker! YEP, we got one of those too!
There won’t be many small, home-based studios at this price level that will be able to offer this combination! We also have Native Instruments acclaimed ‘B4 II’ Hammond Tone Wheel/Leslie emulation software. While it does an admirable job of representing the Hammond/Leslie combo, NOTHING beats the real thing!
Come on in and use this organ, with or without the Leslie and see what it can add to your project...
